My 7 year-old son is circumcised. Tonight in the shower when he was cleaning his penis there was a small fuzz or string-like ring he attempted to wash off. A very small piece remained and as he went to pull it off, he began screaming in pain. He kept screaming its attached, it hurts, it feels like a needle. I attempted to help with a warm rag. I was unable to get it off without him screaming and crying. What do I do? Can it get infected if left alone? How do I help him?
