Stress and anxiety

I am 33yr old wrking professional, I am CA by profession . We are  a family of 4 people ... my parents are elderly and hav various physical ailments. .. My problem is that I get anxious at more than required times which has lead to lower confidence level in commuting n staying alone ... Plz advise

Madam in my opinion you are suffering from anxiety due to your parents illness and perhaps having a feeling of insecurity. you need to take care of yourself and seek help before it becomes severe. there are a lot of mental exercises that can help you. from the history you are giving i guess medications may not be required but the decision can only be taken after a detailed history.

anxiety is not an issue, a little amount of anxiety has to be her for every person, anxiety means you are caring. is it dysfunctional disturbing your life style then you have to go to a professional go to my YouTube videos you may get some clues

You need to relax and give yourself a break. Anxiety in measured dose is vital for optimal performance however if it gets out of hand you certainly need to consult a competent doctor. Practice deep breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. Priorities need to be listed out. You are in a high pressure profession which takes a toll on you and your parents being ill also has affected you that you probably get anxious and it's like a vicious cycle. You need to see what triggers your anxiety and note it down and consult a doctor.
