Stomach rumbling

Hi , Approx. A month ago I had food poison . After that what ever I eat I feel bloated and continuous stomach rumbling. Some days are ok, but majority days it's same problem. Some nights I cannot sleep it's keep on rumbling and stomach feels hard and painful.I had counter medicine treatment peptobismol.I don't see that much effect. Please need advice . Thanks

1. Cap Pan-D twice daily before meals. 2. Syrup Digene 15 ml thrice daily after meals 3. Cap Medigas twice daily after meals. 4. Tab Zerodol-TH once daily after meals. 5. Plenty of Salads and Fruits in Diet. 6. Avoid oily and fried food. 7. Eat Small frequent meals. 8. Avoid Chillies, Spices, Cauliflower, Beans, Peppers, tea , coffee . 9. Don't lie down immediately after meals .At least for 30 minutes. 10. Tab Etilaam 0.50 mg on as needed basis in case of severe breathing difficulties only 11. Follow the above for 5 days . 12. If still not ok , get Lipid Profile done and follow up.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  I suggest you not to follow Dr. Riar's list of medications as tab. Zerodol-th and etilaam are completely unnecessary.  You can take cap. Pan-L once a day half an hour before food for 5 days and tab. Sporolac twice a day after food. Drink plenty of fluids and avoid oily and spicy foods. Consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management if the issue still persists.  Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
