Stomach grumbling and diarrhea
Hi
I have diarrhea since yesterday evening. I never get diarrhea even if I get fever.
I was outside India and travelled to India 4 days ago. Had only home food and cold water.
I suddenly got stomach grumbling with pain and passed loose stools 4 times until now. I took lopamide pill yesterday night and even after taking the pill, I passed loose stools 3 times.
Does lopamide really helps with diarrhea?
I also feel body heat. Change in weather and time, couldn't sleep properly for the last one week.
Does 4 times loose stools even after taking the pill means any serious infection?
Does lopamide works after 4th time loose stools? The pharmacist said I have to take it immediately when it's started.
Any other medicine which helps diarrhea.

Probably you are having travelling diarrhea of infective origin
Don't worry and calm down
Stop taking Lopamide as it should not be taken in traveller diarrhea

Please take
Enterogermina respules three times a day for three days
Take tab loperamide 2 tablets together if loose motions persist
Tab pan 40 in morning before breakfast.
Drink plenty of water .
Consume curd to increase the good guy bacterias
If it does not settle today itself then will have to start antibiotics and do further investigation.
So kindly consult and inform
