Steroids used to recover covid
Hello Doc, i have used steroid(methylprednisolone) when i was covid positive. It was recommended for me due to severity of infection (RTPCR ct gen-15). I have used 8mg for a week twice a day. I wasnt getting better so increased dose.16mg for 3 days, 8mg for 7 days and 4 mg for 5 days. As per source on internet, over use of Steroids reduce immune system and may lead to black fungas. Im little worried now. My question is the above usage of steroid is over dose or normal? Also please suggest how to boost my immune power and prevent any fungas from causing.

-Nasal stuffiness
-Headache
-Nasal Discharge, etc.
