Please consult a squint specialist. After detailed examination of,vision muscles and retina, the prognosis can be given . If everything is ok then corrective surgery is possible.

The residual squint can be corrected by surgery at this age. Glasses may help improve vision but are unlikely to correct squint completely, however a trial of glasses can be given and observed for 2 months. Surgery will be a more definitive procedure.

It all depends on the vision and retina condition of your squinting eye. If everything is okay, you can go ahead with the surgery. But if vision is low, there are high chances of squint relapsing post surgery.
