It depends upon the status of vision on your left eye. If it has good vision go for surgery. If not then don’t otherwise it will revert back to its squint position.

What is the visual status in your left eye? It can be corrected by surgery but the condition may revert back after few years. Better to consult a Squint specialist for better evaluation

Always go for detailed refraction first. If need arises for squint correction, good vision in the deviating eye keeps post op alignment of eyes for longer period. Otherwise it start to deviate again. Cosmetic squint correction is also an option, if needed.
