This girl aged 25 has a squint in eye with low vision eye (-12). this eye has Myelination of retinal nerve fibres but not in the macular region. She has Amblyopia. She was observed to have a very small opacity of the lens but doctors say it is relatively small. the axial of the eye is 28mm. the line of treatment for her has to be decided. 1. do only squint surgery or 2.remove the cataract and fit IOL and myopia wil go away and may regain further vision 3.Removal of cataract will not improve vision even if the number goes away so do Squint correction for cosmetic purposes
