Hello Squint in an adult can't cause amblyopia or loss of vision but it will cause diplopia

both are complementary to each other. ie amblyopia may cause squint and squint may  cause amblyopia. in adult age treatment of squint is possible by surgery but treatment of amblyopia is not possible.
