Sprain in ankle

Hi , I got a sprain in ankle  4weeka back. I took a xray there is not bone damage but its still not healed fully .There is a little swelling in the joint area .What should i do?

Hi... X-rays can ascertain the damage of bones... We need to evaluate the integrity of the joint through clinical testing.. I recommend you to visit a physio to get it checked and then follow a good rehab protocol..to recover faster.. There could be a ligament damage..say it can be a mild strain to partial or complete tear.. Since you are not complaining of complete tear symptoms.. you can recover faster with rehab.. Next Steps
try icing the painfully and swollen area.. do wear a ankle support' which will help you to reduce swelling... be careful while walking on uneven terrain...
