Spotting in teenage

Dr, My daughter is 13 years old, When she started her period, at 10 years, it was for 7 days till 10 days mild flow.. When she was 11 years she got spotting for 20 days, scan said bilateral pcos.. thyroid was normal and dr gave Ovral L But my husband said not to give hormones and other dr said to wait and watch and issue resolved.. Now she is 13 and got spotting from 3 March till 10th March, then got mild to moderate bleeding for a week and then again spotting till today, it is randomly only on wiping nothing on pad.. what to do? I consulted pediatrician and they said to wait till 16 years and keep watch on Iron level.. thank you No

Get a repeat thyroid profile prolactin levels and ultrasound done. Because her age is just 13 yrs she needs to be evaluated as it would be very early to start on hormonal pills. You should consult a gynaecologist physically to look for secondary sexual characters development. If well developed secondary sexual characters then she needs to be started on hormonal supplements
