Spotting before periods

From last 2 months i am have red thread before and after one week of normal periods. Before i had 3 to 4 days periods, but from last two month i am having heavy periods continue 8 to 9 days. And after that red threads for one week. I don’t know what going on. My periods dates are sep se, 12 sep, 16oct, 24 nov, 24 dec, 14 jan, 15 feb

If you are hvng pre and postmenstrual spotting along with menorrhagia then you need to get it investigated. An ultrasound pelvis to rule out any polyp or ovarian cyst is needed. Also a clinical examination is must
