SPO2 Saturation while walking

Hello Doctor, Is it normal to see drop in saturation while walking? I noticed that when i walk fast my oxygen saturation drops to 85-89, when i slow done it restores back to 97-98. During resting my saturation is 98%. Nowadays i am scared to walk due to this issue.

Slight drop in saturation is acceptable,but we would like to know if you have any symptoms you get while walking fast.Do you normally develop any chest tightness while walking. Have to be evaluated for any lung /cardiac condition causing drop in saturation

Saturation should not drop while walking. If it drop, means you have a lung disease most likely ILD. Get it evaluated by HRCT Chest
