Doctor suggested surgery for spinal canal diameters in mm L4-L5 is 3.5 Patient age 70 years had issue of diabetesthyroid and bp , also . Is there any other option to avoid surgery?

Depends on the complaints and the severity But 3.5 mm canal diameter is too small Normal diameter is more than 10mm
