While biting and chewing 1 tablespoon of raw flax seeds, I got cuts and sores on my extreme right gums. The pain gets accentauted when I close the upper and lower teeth on the right. Please guide for empirical treatment . What can help ease pain and heal cuts, wound, sores?

Based on the history, this sounds most consistent with a traumatic gingival/mucosal laceration or traumatic ulcer caused by the sharp/rough flax seeds. The fact that pain increases when the upper and lower teeth contact that area suggests the injured tissue may be getting repeatedly traumatized during biting. Most minor traumatic oral ulcers heal spontaneously within 1–2 weeks once the source of trauma is removed.
Next Steps
* Stop eating raw/whole flax seeds for now and avoid chewing on the affected side. * Rinse gently with warm saline: ½ teaspoon salt in a glass of warm water, 3–4 times/day, then spit it out. * For pain, a topical oral analgesic/anaesthetic gel such as benzydamine or an appropriate lidocaine preparation can provide temporary relief; follow the product instructions and avoid eating immediately after application.
Health Tips
* Eat soft, lukewarm/cool foods for a few days and chew on the opposite side. * Avoid spicy, acidic, very salty, hot, hard or crunchy foods until the wound settles. * Continue gentle oral hygiene with a soft-bristled toothbrush, but don’t aggressively brush directly over the wound. * Don’t repeatedly touch, scrape or check the sore with your tongue/finger. * Seek an in-person dental examination sooner if there is increasing swelling, pus, fever, significant bleeding, difficulty opening the mouth/swallowing, severe worsening pain, or a loose/damaged tooth. * If the lesion doesn’t show clear healing within 1–2 weeks or persists beyond 3 weeks, it should definitely be examined by a dentist/oral medicine specialist.
