Sore throat with pus and mucus

Since Thursday I have had a sore throat, fever over 103 was tested for strep it was negative. Was told to drink antibiotics if I still had pain so I did. My fever went away but I still have very large infected tonsil with pus and phlegm that comes out with a bit of blood on and off all day. I have a sour taste in my mouth and its so bad. Should I seek the ER or wait until all the antibiotics are done. I feel like the antibiotics are also making me feel nauseous and disoriented.

Hi and. I can understand your concern. I think you should wait till your antibiotics are done. Along with antibiotics, you could do salt water gargles. If it still persists, then yes you have to get it checked out once again. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
