I caught a cold few days back from my daughter, and now it's turned into sore throat with severe itching. Whenever I get this the ent prescribes dolo 650 and an anti biotic like amoxciline cause I am a feeding mother to my second child. Can u suggest me the right medication?

Hello........ Amoxycillin is not harmful..you can take it.. Most of  contagious infections are viral infection..  Gargle with salt water, use warm water ... Take steam inhalation for cold ...avoid oily foods ,ice cream ,outside food items , consult general physician in the nearest hospital ,
