My 9 year old prefer to take maxtra syrup for cold which was prescribed when she was 4 years old. Other syrup for cold, she does not want to take. Will the maxta syrup work for cold now at 9 years

As she is 9 yr old  you can give tab levocetrizine 2.5mg 1tab once daily before food in evening
