Small umbilical hernia
My mom ultrasound done. Report shows There is a small defect noted at umbilicus mesuring 2cms with herniation of omentum and grade 1 fatty liver. What has caused umbilical hernia in her she is 52 years old. She has four csection deliveries in her 20's . Any risk from this hernia
May be caused due to multiple c sections .consult a surgeon

C-section causes abdominal muscles to losen up creating defects in them from which the hernia protrudes. More over 4 C-section had adden up to the defect. Usually there is no risk involed but sometimes there are cases of obstruction or strangulation of hernia.
