Small clot

2020-06-09 21:59:19
My son 2 months and 29 days old. I have found tiny clot like dot in his upper arm. As it is inside arm hard to know what it is? He doesn't have pain of that I have checked by touching it. Is it normal blood clot or something else? I have developed pre-eclampsia at 34 weeks due to which my delivery done at 38 weeks. Is it due to that? Can blood clot go on there own?

Please share a photo. By description it seems to be a benign lesion.

As by your inputs I can make a opinion that  being normal skin changes in a newborn period usually resolves by itself ..as you said solitary small dot /clot doesn't suggest anything significant..

Is it on left shoulder or just below shoulder? Then it can be due to vaccine and no need to worry about it. Otherwise at least a photo will be required before commenting
