My son is 3years old and doesn't speak as much as other kids do.His all activities are very normal,he is an active boy, goes to play school. He speaks lesser than other kids of his age. Sometimes he catches word easily and rapidly but sometimes he doesn't.. He speaks few words but not sentences. I am in worry that when he will start properly speaking. Is this normal? Please suggest what should i do?

Every Child follows more or less similar speech and language pattern at specific age. Even though other milestones are achieved age appropriately, there are n number of reasons due to which child shows delayed speech and language. That's why It is better to consult speech pathologist because after specific age, it is very difficult to bring any child in mainstream. Speech pathologist will tell you present status of your child and if needed then guide you to develop his/her speech and language skills.
