I have a frequent desire to urinate while i am sleeping and as a result i could not have a sound sleep

Is it just desire or u actually pee. Check out for uti Also dont drink water 2 hrs prior to sleep It could be due to anxiety also Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling All the best
