Sleep problem

My baby is 7 month 6 days old...He sleeps only half an hour in one go...He keep waking whole night ..Also i have to struggle for hours to make him fall asleep...i also noticed him while sleeping sometime his heart rate go up and suddenly it feels like it stop for second and my baby start crying...i dont know what is the reason ...Kindly guide me..
