I have been diagnosed by severe obstructive sleep apnea with 30/hr.My endoscopy showed high dns on left and spur on right nose with bulky tonsils with side collapse.Have been asked to get Septoplasty+TR+Tonsillectomy+Z-patatoplasty done. Looking for a second opinion.Pls advice.

Surgery for sleep apnea is not always successful as there many other factors associated with sleep apnea. First is weight loss then sleep hygiene then comes CPAP machine and last is surgery.. Get a drug induced sleep naso endoscopy to confirm the cause for upper airway obstruction then decide about surgery
