I have tiny skin tags or skin warts mostly on the skin at the corner of my eyes, and on my neck. Not a lot of warts, but just a few. And about 5-6 years ago is when I first remember getting a cold sore on my lip. I was prescribed Herpex ointment and it worked. Ever since, I have had cold sores on and around the same location, and nowhere else. 1. What kind of herpes could this be? 2. Is this something that is transmitted only by sexual contact, or by skin contact, too? 3. Why do the cold sores get triggered? Is there something I can do to prevent another breakout? 4. How scared should I be of this condition/situation?
