Your symptoms are typical of urticaria, if more than 6 weeks and still persisting it's chronic urticaria. It's not life threatening but very disturbing. The key factor in treatment is to find the reason for such symptomatology. If it's detectable, treatment is simple. The key is to suppress the triggers by use of anti-allergic medications for long term, like atleast 3 months and gradually taper and stop. Don't pop one after the attack, but take the anti-allergic medications daily at a fixed time. They are quite safe even for long term usage. Chronic urticaria treatment requires a lot of understanding.
Test yourself for any possible
vitamin deficiencies like
Vitamin D and
B12. Rule out any
thyroid disease as well.
