Hello doctors, i am having pain in left shoulder and hand, diagnosed with Cervical disc prolapse. Doctor did a single injection in multiple area including one just above ear on head. Is it safe? What is this injection.

I think it is a pain portal block injection..Better to confirm the condition with MRI. Usually slipped discs improve naturally..till then you may need some medication for pain relief followed by neck muscle exercises..These injections may help in reducing medication use..
