Laser tattoo removal is totally safe in experienced hands. The lasers have been improvised in recent years. There can be chance burns or swelling and sometimes pigmentation if done incorrectly. Sometimes even if methodology is correct, it's unpredictable. So better to get a test spot done first and wait for a week or so to see for adverse effects. One of the best lasers at present is Revlite utilising Q-switched technology.
