Sexual side effects can be caused due to the antidepressants. But usually it reverses once the medication is stopped. If it is continuing there is high likelihood that the sexual issues you are facing may be one of the symptoms of depression/anxiety also. It is likely that when initiated on the medications initially some people feel worsening of symptoms but slowly it settles down within a week or so. Hence definite answer can be told only after proper evaluation.

Sexual side effects are likely directly due to antidepressants. If so, they can be changed. The others are due to recurrence of your depressive illness which were under remission with antidepressants and relapsed after stopping. Consult an astute psychiatrist and take treatment. Good luck
