I am taking 37.5 MG venlafaxine for depression on doctor recommendation every night for last 4 days. I am not able to sleep properly due to sudden changes in heart rate, hallucinations, Nausea, dizziness and sometimes loss of breath. The side effects remain till next day afternoon. Is this expected?

Sometimes Venlafaxine itself can cause sleep disturbance or can lower blood pressure.. so Check ur BP and also discuss with ur doctor if u can shift the drug to mornings which can be helpful....
