Dear mam, The pain you are referring to is called as radiculopathy where the pain extends from upper shoulder to arm region. Sometimes patients also experience tingling sensations or pins and needles type sensations. This may be due cervical spondylosis or nerve impingement. Treatment includes some medications but essentially it is essentially some basic precautions to be taken which will help you heal.
