I have diagnosed with shoulder dislocation in right shoulder and have been suggested surgery after consulting from 2-3 doctors. But i am still unclear will i will be able to play outdoor sports normally after 4-5 months or even after few more months without the threat of dislocation ? As the doctor i recently consulted told me that i have to be precautious while playing as it will not be like the original part its a repair.(age -22)

Well dont worry...with proper rehab programme you will be back to your pre dislocation stage....however depends on what surgery they are going to perform and what structures are going to be cut....the rehab would depend on this..... Do get back with the details of your injury,symptoms and xray/mri report of post trauma status. Regards.
