Shortness of Breath While Speaking
I experience shortness of breath while speaking, especially when I try to speak loudly. I have also noticed this during long hours of continuous talking.
I have been taking Inderal (Propranolol) 20 mg and recently took 40 mg. I also have a history of taking Flunil (Fluoxetine) for a long time.
Could this breathing problem be related to Inderal or my previous psychiatric medication? Which tests would you recommend to identify the cause? Should I consult a pulmonologist?

Breathlessness while speaking loudly or for long stretches can come from a few different things at once here. A beta blocker like the one you're on can occasionally cause fatigue or breathlessness as a side effect, especially after a dose increase, and voice strain from prolonged loud talking is a separate, very common cause on its own.
