Shld i go 2 Psychologist or psychiatrist
I'm 16 i feel i have a lotta problems i might even be depressed i have my board exams going on right now (igcse so don't even say they don't matter ) and well a lot of my teachers and even doctor beside psychologist or psychiatrist have said that whatever problem i have is all psychological so take her to a psychologist or psychiatrist so well my mom decided to take me to a psychiatrist directly. Is that fine ? He won't even know what problems i have how can he give me medications like that? Like first we should always go to a psychologist right ? But what if we want the results and treatment fast? Suggest olz

Please don't worry. ..psychiatrist won't prescribe you medicines without talking to you and understanding your case.
Since your board exams are near, if the psychiatrist prescribes some anti-anxiety medicines , they will work fast.
With psychologist , you can refer after your exams. We as psychologist assist the client in understanding the root of problem and healthy coping mechanisms are taught to client . Since the sessions with psychologist takes about 1 hour and has to be weekly or fortnightly, you can consult psychologist later.

Try to maintain a regular routine and eat healthy and light . Go for a short walk after putting in few hours of study.
