Sharp hip pain, popping

Hi! For a long time I have had a problem where if I sit with my legs out to the side/criss cross/ or straddled I get an unbearable Instant pain in my left leg and have to move. Later on it started to make a loud pop noise every time I do a sit up. Now, about two months ago i started getting sharp intense pains randomly when I stand up or am in the middle of walking and I have to stop and can barley walk or stand. It’s only my left hip.

• Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
