Hi, My sister is suffering hand tremor from few years and being untreated till date. Its recently increases and she is feeling pain also in hand. Recently see a neurologist and he suggested for an MRI and says this should not happen in this age. This means what he suspecting. Is it serious diseases. Please help me a bit to understand

Hello, Hand tremors can be present due to number of illnesses from thyroid to Parkinson which is less possible at this age. Associated symptoms helps in knowing the reason behind it. There are cases in which only tremor are present which is known as essential tremor. It's better to get evaluated and see the reason behind it. It can be treated so do not worry.
