Severe pain on the right shoulder

My husband is experiencing a lot of pain on the right shoulder and hand. He just travelled 2 days ago. He's taken ibuprofen for pain but it's not working. He lives in uae. What remedies or medicines should he take to reduce the pain?

Hi. Acute onset shoulder pain may be due to inflammation of bursa inside the shoulder or stretching of some tendons. I can see that his weight is quite high. Is he diabetic? U can use common pain medication to relieve the pain and apply gel or spray. Adv him to correct his weight too. Best wishes

Shoulder pain can be off various reasons, if it has started after long travel, probably a muscle spasm, can take muscle relaxants like tablet myoril 4 mg twice for 3 days, if the pain doesn't subside after 3 days, needs a clinical evaluation at hospital. Ice packs can help too.
Next Steps
take muscle relaxants with one analgesic like paracetamol for 3 days, if u have access to physiotherapy,  try Interferencial therapy for 5 days
