Severe pain in tooth
I am experiencing severe pain in bottom left last tooth. It has a small cavity. There is no swelling or infection. The pain starts and stays for few minutes. Then stops. Again starts in some time. This is going on since last night. I am able to eat from that side when there is no pain. Please suggest some medication.

Get x_ray(IOPA) of the concerned tooth done...

When you say you have a cavity...
It is obvious that you have a problem..
Dental cavities usually appear small.
Dentine outer layer is hard for bacteria to break
Inside layer Dentine is relatively easy for bacteria to destroy.
So it could be larger than you think and hence the pain

If the pain is severe, it means it has reached nerves and if it is a wisdom tooth, normally we advise removal or sometimes Rootcanal treatment may b advised.
