I have severe pain in left ear from past week. Kindly guide for the same. Please note that the ear was checked and found with wax months back but wax was never removed since it was not soft to be removed.

Is there any history of water going inside ear or usage of ear buds. Most probably its wax but it could be fungal infection or inflammation  of ear canal also.
