Severe lower back pain that occurs inconsistently and at times accompanied with pain in my left knee. My bowel behaviour also has been affected to some extent due to this? please let me know what is this condition? And which doctor should I visit in order to diagnose this problem.

I would suggest you seek opinion from a rheumatologist. There will be a battery of test to properly diagnosing your problems as there are chronic inflammatory bowel disease with associated chronic inflammatory joint diseases.
