You need to take soft diet and liquid diet in food. Avoid sticky, sweet and spicy food items. For pain there may be number of causes like caries to teeth, Gums problems, High points on ur teeth or ur dentition problem. So, if you want to reduce ur problem.  Follow the above instructions and once consult to Dentist. He will Guide you properly.
