Hi there.. I can understand your concern..
Aseptic meningitis/inflammatory meningitis is an illness characterized by serous inflammation of the linings of the brain (i.e., meninges). Clinical manifestations vary, with headache and fever predominating. The illness is usually mild and runs its course without treatment; however, some cases can be severe and life threatening.Aseptic meningitis syndrome is not caused by pyogenic bacteria or any organism.. it is due to body's exaggerated reaction to mild organism which continues even after the organism is not there.. treatment is just supportive treatment for symptoms..it takes time to resolve. if pain is unbearable then please consult other neurologist for second opinion..
