Hello there....., as your baby is older than six months, give him plenty of water or other drinks. Do not to give him fruit juices or any other drinks. They may irritate his throat if it is sore..... give him half a teaspoon of honey a day..... A cough will usually clear up on its own, especially if you follow the tips above... Consider antibiotics if there is any bacterial infection.... Kindly consult your pediatrician if cough persists for more than a week.....
