Sensitivity in tooth next to  implant implant tooth..ie in tooth between implant tooth and wisdom tooth...Doctor did x ray and advised me wisdom tooth extraction as it is slant and RCT for tooth next to it.Is it correct to go for extraction...Is there any way to avoid it..I could see no cavity from outside but doctor said since you are feeling sensitivity so there are chances for cavity..and will assess need for RCT once doing extraction of wisdom tooth. I am sending x ray pic attached herewith..please see and advise.

Hello mam... yes your x ray shows you have cavity in the 2 nd molar teeth next to the implant teeth which is due to horizontal impaction of that wisdom teeth... Wisdom teeth is one that fails to erupt in its normal position in the given period of time... it is the extra teeth Consequences of wisdom teeth: ** Pericoronitis **Trismus (Difficulty in opening the mouth) **causes erosion of nearby teeth and causes sensitivity and pain in that **Bad breathe As your doctor said you need to go for extraction of wisdom teeth followed by Root canal treatment of the 2 nd molar teeth as the cavity reaches inside of the teeth approaching pulp(Nerve layer)
Next Steps
kindly visit dentist for furthur clinical examination and management

As per your RVG Xray, your pulp chamber of second molar is exposed. It is either due to carious lesion or due to resorption by the force of the third molar.
Next Steps
The sooner you get your third molar extracted the better will be the outcome. Also get a Root canal treatment of your second molar with a good crown.
Health Tips
For the time being you can use Desensitising toothpaste and a mouthwash.

Hi,yes your doctor is right, you maybe feeling the sensitivity because of slanting position of the wisdom tooth,so the tooth adjacent tooth next to wisdom tooth maybe carious.Go for extraction of last tooth and root canal of tooth adjacent to it.
