Sensitivity in filled cavity teeth

I have been having a pain in my teeth whenever I drink cold water. Looks like, amalgam silver filling has come out slightly and restoration may be required. There is no pain in teeth normally but only when I drink cold water not in case of hot water. This is happening from past 10 days. I had visited Sharda hospital and they are suggesting RCT also which is highly unlikely per me.

Transient Sensitivity to cold usually indicates reversible pulp irritation and in most cases, a proper restoration should solve the problem. Lasting and lingering pain with heat application indicates irreversible pulp changes. Get the leaky filling changed as soon as possible
