Hey , i am 21+ male with -4 myopia in both of my eyes . I have used patanjali drishti eye drops once for 2 weeks for my eye strain problem due to work on laptop for long times.but today, suddenly I am seeing some floaters in my one eye. Is this because of the drishti eye drop or even if i don't used any drop it would happen ?

Myopes patient usually have floaters. It is not because of eye drop. Stop using that drop. Instead you can use refresh tears eye drop 4 times a day. Take frequent breaks while u work on laptop. Follow 20.20.20 rule that is after every 20 min of work on laptop take a 20 sec break and focus on any object that is 20 feet away. Since you are a myope experiencing floaters it is better to go for dilated fundus examination by a retina specialist.

Floaters are usually normal in myopes. But you should get your retina checked in clinic for any problem. For long screen time you can use any lubricating eye drops like refresh tears 3-4 times a day. The floaters are not due to eye drops.

Hi, floaters is a common issue in myopes. Its unlikely that any eye drop will cause floaters. You can stop using the current eye drop, instead use eye drop teardrops 2-3 times a day for a month. While using digital devices, every 20 minutes, take a 20 second break and look at a distant object 20 feet away. Maintain right posture while using computer. Keep yourself hydrated. Blink more often. consult sos
