Hi... Imagine yourself being frustrated and not having language or any other ways of expressing or regulating these strong emotions. Imagine how would you respond to it beyond a point. Your kid is experiencing a similar situation and you need to first figure out the cause and then address it. You may first be mindful of his basic needs like, hunger, fatigue, loneliness, etc. Try calming him down by giving him a warm hug and acknowledging his strong emotions. You don't need to give in to his demands or to challenge them either. You just need to communicate your warmth and support and help him regulate his strong emotions in a better way. Your patience, warmth, communication, and support is the key to helping him as a parent. If still his issues persist, please consult a Pediatrician or a Psychologist to address his issues in a more systematic way.
