You are well covered. A scratch that draws even a drop of blood is a category 3 exposure, so normally it needs vaccine, but because you completed your booster doses just 10 days earlier, your antibody levels are at their peak right now. When an exposure happens within about 3 months of a completed course or booster, no further vaccine is required. You also do not need rabies immunoglobulin at any point once you are already immunised. What you should do is wash the scratch with soap under running water for 15 minutes and apply an antiseptic like povidone iodine. Also check your tetanus status - if you have not had a tetanus containing vaccine in the last 5 years, take a Td booster. Watch the wound for redness, swelling, pus or fever, as cat scratches can get infected and may then need antibiotics after examination. For any bite or scratch happening after 3 months from now, two intradermal booster doses on day 0 and day 3 will be enough. Feel free to consult me on Practo or at Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj if the wound looks infected.
