Is scar thickness from 1st c-section delivery plays a role during 2nd pregnancy? If yes what is the minimum thickness should be there to try for normal delivery 2nd time.

Yes scar thickness plays a very important role if you want to have a trial of normal delivery after cesarean. There is no clear cut criteria about the thickness but thickness more than 8 mm is considered as good. We need to consider several other factors before a vaginal delivery trial apart from the scar thickness.

It does play role in second delivery. There are many other factors which are taken into consideration simultaneously to take decision whether to give trial of labour or not. Please discuss with your treating doctor.
