Scalp redness and while flakes

My daughter is 6 yr old . She has redness of scalp only at back of head for past 6 months . No itching . Dr scrapped the redness under light . At that time white flakes coming . What is the ressson . Whether fungal causes focal scalp only one localised redness . Remaining scalp are normal colour . Dr prescribed flucaconazole 150 mg tablet for 19 kg child on alternate days . Pls suggest . Her blood report CBC and AEC are normal . Whether fungus can cause only one spot redness while other areas are normal .
